Bengt O Björklund was born on 15th of August 1949. He wrote his first poem while in jail in Istanbul in 1970. He later played Eric in the movie Midnight Express. Since then he has published nine poetry collections (five in Swedish and four in English). Bengt is also an artist, a percussionist, a photographer and a cook.
